My biz essentials
Here are the most helpful tools I use in my solopreneur business right now –
from client management and design to social media and photography.
Adobe Creative Suite
Adobe is the industry standard for a reason. While I’m not a big fan of their pricing models – well tbh, who is?! – the versatility, power and creative possibilities are just hard to ignore.
I just recently started using Flodesk and it’s already way ahead all the free software that I tried before (looking at you, Mailchimp…). Their pricing model is just as simple as the workflow.
When you have strategic content on your feed(s), you’re gonna need a scheduling helper. I love Later because it’s just super easy to navigate. And I’m still on the free plan!
Aa scheduling and booking platform will be such a time saver for booking discovery calls. You can put in your available dates and times and your clients can book their preferred slot.
DESIGN ON THE GO
While I do all my design work in Adobe, Canva is great for content on the go. When I have an insta post that I need right away, I can just download my own preset and post in a matter of seconds.
E-MAIL AUTOMATION + LANDING PAGES
This e-mail and automation software is great when you’re looking to create a converting page, offer or freebie. After setting up the flow, it runs your marketing from the background.
Molly and Mark are amazingly talented designers and content creators and they provide pretty much the best mockups out there. So beautiful and intuitive to use!
While I do let my clients choose their own print company, Moo is the one I always recommend and order from myself. Their process is super easy and the quality is always on point.
I’m an Enneagram 7 and an ENFP, so organization is definitely not my strong suit. I love having a good overview of my biz tasks in one place and Asana has been doing a great job.
